To the top bidder, I will mail 6+ eggs from my bantam modern game birds. This pen will produce birchen and silver blue. All breeders in my pen are show-potential, and two have been shown and placed. Bidding starts at $1. See photos of birds below. Sorry, I only have a photo of the rooster and one of the hens, but will try to get more before the auction ends.

Fertility is very good here! Eggs will be freshly collected and no more than 3 days old when mailed. Each egg is individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then 4-5 eggs are again wrapped in a 12"x12" sheet of bubble wrap "burrito-style", and then these burritos are placed in a cushioning agent (i.e. Styrofoam peanuts, sawdust, etc.). The box will be marked "fragile" on all sides and I will be glad to add a message for the PO to call you when they arrive if you send me your phone number. Mailing service will be by USPS Priority with delivery confirmation. I will combine shipping if you win more than one of my auctions.

This is a PayPal only auction and payment should be made by midnight on 20 April so eggs can be mailed the following day, Wed. 21 April 2010. No e-checks, please! If payment is not received, eggs will be offered to the next highest bidder.

As with all egg auctions, I cannot guarantee your hatch rate due to many effecting issues out of my control. Please PM me with any questions. Thanks and have a great day!

Well, they are pretty good flyers. I have mine in a 6' fence and they never did try to get out before I put netting over it. But, if they wanted to, I expect they could.

These are, quite honestly, the most unique and entertaining chickens I have ever had. Not beautiful, but sleek and very Jurassic looking. You see how high the girl has her foot in the first photo? That's how they walk! It's hysterical! It's like they are doing a little dance ritual

My birds are very tame and I have one that will come up and eat out of my hand at every opportunity. She also flies onto my shoulder to see what's happening. I just love these little birds!

I know what you mean. I bought 4 of these little hens for my 7 yr. old son this year. I thought at first that they were bothered by the bands on their legs, the way they high stepped in around the yard. I just love seeing them come running when I come out. They just tickle me; so much fun to watch. We've decided to get him started showing them.

So funny! I thought the same thing the first time I brought them home! heehee These eggs certainly have the potential to hatch you some show quality chicks, so your son could get a good start. I am planning on showing the cock and one of the hens soon. Thanks, Julie!

Do you have a picture of one or some of your hens from the front. I'd just like to see how they look, if you don't mind.
