Rare Feathers Farm is proud to offer:

Info:

6+ Hatching eggs from my rare breeds flock. So far I have 95% fertility and 100% hatch rate with these here on the farm! I have been getting feedback of 80-90% hatch rates with these shipped.

My roosters are HUGE (Standard) Light Sussex and my Light Sussex hens are quite large as well. I purchased these directly from Paul Bradshaw of Green Fire Farms last fall (2009), they are 100% Bradshaw lines. These are NOT HATCHERY birds but Australian import lines. These are very friendly, hardy birds that are great layers of brown eggs.

The eggs are fertile & shipped fresh!

Breed Info:

These are PUREBRED, QUALITY birds from excellent stock (private breeders)--NOT HATCHERY BIRDS!

Hatching Info:

Chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch!

Additional Shipping Info:

Each egg will be individually wrapped to prevent breakage while they are in transit. I will send any/all extras just in case any of the eggs do crack or break. I will ship the eggs as close to the beginning of the week as possible (I ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & sometimes, on Thursdays) so they will not sit at the post office over the weekend. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me, I will be more than happy to answer you! I ONLY SHIP WITHIN THE U.S., SORRY I CANNOT SHIP TO HAWAII OR PR.

Fine Print:

I guarantee fresh and fertile eggs of the breed auctioned. However, I cannot guarantee hatch-ability due to many variables out of my control after the eggs leave my farm--such as shipping & handling, incubation equipment, and incubation methods.

Patience

Please remember I am not a 24-hour fast food place where you can order and expect service immediately! I am doing this as a hobby and I work as fast and efficiently as the time allows. I do have a 40+ hour per week "real job." I cannot guarantee specific availability dates, as I cannot guarantee the laying rate of each of the many breeds that I have. I will get to each and every person that places an order - in the order the date that I receive that order through the web store.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING POLICY:

PayPal only please, NO E-CHECKS! Eggs are TIME-SENSITIVE & CANNOT SIT AROUND FOR A WEEK WAITING FOR CHECKS TO CLEAR without comprising hatch-ability! Please READ THIS & UNDERSTAND PRIOR TO BIDDING!

Payment must be received within 7 days of auction end or item will be re-listed & negative feedback WILL be left!

GOOD LUCK & HAPPY HATCHING!

**I wanted to add that if there is an issue with these, please let me know prior to leaving me feedback. I will require photos. I have had too many people tell me all eggs are clear only to see them hatching on this website (bragging with photos) or advertising chicks on Craigslist from eggs that supposedly "never hatched." In another case, I refunded someone's money TWICE and a year later, low & behold--they were offering a breed of chicken I sold them & using my farm name in their advertisements as the source of their stock!!

In most cases, I will offer new eggs for the cost of the shipping. In other cases, I will refund the cost of the eggs, but NOT the shipping. Please just be honest with me. You expect it from me so I expect it from you in return.**

Nope, not yet. I had it scheduled for earlier this year but then had to reschedule due to my husband's surgeries and needing to take care of him. I can say that all of my birds have come from NPIP certified sources (except two and those were quarantined) and I have a closed flock. I don't allow visitors and I have shown once. I do have quarantine pens which I house my birds in after the come back from shows.

I do have NPIP paperwork on these breeders because they came directly from Paul Bradshaw.

I bought eggs from her and 6 out of 6 were fertile and made it to lock down. 4 hatched. I had 2 power outages and still got 4 chicks to hatch.
(Iam sorry people do this, I understand too I also have been there)

I am dying to buy these but the temps have been in the mid 90's here in Louisiana. No doubt USPS would love to leave these in a hot truck and fry them
