6 mix birds any clue of gender yet?

    I have six birds
    2 buff orpingtons
    2 americanus
    1 Mille Fleur D'Uccles
    and 1 silkie

    the single birds where strait runs, but the pairs were supposed to be pullets any indications of what i have? lots of pictures here.

    They are absolutely adorable, but too young to tell sex, update when they are 5-8 weeks of age.

    Thank you, and yes. We have wanted chickens for a long time, but have lived in the city and while they did allow hens the logistics just never worked out. 4 years ago my job took my out of the city we used to live in iin and took us to a college town. last year we bought a great house in a good neighborhood just outside of town. one of our neighbors has some old hens that are her pets so after talking with her a bit we decided this was the year we make it happen.So far we have been very pleased. They all have quite the personality and are very entertaining to watch.

    The hardest part so far is getting our dogs trained to see them as family and not food. it is slow going but we are making progress!
