6 month old white silkie

I am very new to chickens, this is my first "batch." I have no clue what gender this chicken is. No crowing, no mounting, no eggs.

so, how do you know its a roo? like i said before, i'm new to chickens and have no idea what characteristics to look for in determining gender, especially in a fluff-ball silkie. thanks.

I'm guessing they say roo based on the size and color of the comb and the stance. That chicken is standing very upright with head in the air, typical roo stance and tail feathers point up.

am I right?
