The beloved Garry Farm Speckled Sussex hatching eggs are back! Our fourth generation speckled sussex are laying and this flock is our prettiest ever with all their lovely shades of feathering! We've been waiting until our flock has been laying eggs at least 6 months and we've just hatched off our first babies ....a 100% hatch!!! This auction is for 6+ Speckled Sussex Hatching eggs - we'll send more the day of shipping if they are available. We have been so blessed with Speckled Sussex birds that we are privileged to care for. In addition to being beautiful, these are quite affectionate, with the hens literally coming to me to be petted. They are just a wonderful flock! These are the liveliest and friendliest of all our breeds. Even Lazarus, our Rooster will not attack me....He will dance around his ladies if a stranger approaches, but he is a gentle rooster who concentrates on being large, tall, and proud.

You will also get 6+ non hatchery Delaware hatching eggs. (originally from Speckled Hen here on BYC!

The + means you will get more eggs if available the day of shipping.

We are a chemical free farm and farm full-time. We feed our animals with the best feed, sprouted grains, fresh grasses, treats from the garden and loving care. I often say that are animals get more nutritious food and rest than we do! We have a high rooster to hen ratio and am getting great reports and experiencing great hatches as well.

Shipping and Payment information:
These will ship week of Nov. 28 if payment is received in a timely fashion and if hens continue to lay as at present, which is expected.

Paypal only is acceptable for this auction - no e checks through paypal please as these can take days to clear.
We accept paypal and USPS money orders for preorders as well. Orders may be picked up at the farm with prior notice so we can assure that they are ready for you.

The charge for shipping and handling is dollar cost averaged so that you can pay immediately after winning the auction. Should the costs run higher, we will simply absorb those costs. It includes selecting the best eggs, packing , handling, priority shipping and also confirmation delivery and driving them to the post office. We have found it worth the almost two hours it takes to pack the way we do and bring them to the post office and wait in line. If you want to have insurance, it will be an additional amount $2. For this auction, we will need paypal.

If your address is in Hawaii or Alaska please contact us as shipping is much higher to Hawaii and your shipping costs will be higher than $16.70.

Our paypal is

We ship eggs in the same way we would like to receive them. We carefully examine each egg and select the best for you, bubble wrap each egg separately, putting in a regular box (not an egg carton) which is then cushioned and set in a larger box. These are not the prepaid priority boxes but we use the large boxes that can be ordered through USPS as the standard mailing box. Our mailing costs can often be higher than the prepaid boxes but we find that they arrive in better shape, so it's well worth the extra time, packing materials and shipping costs. Occasionally with a large order, we will use an even larger outside box. We also take the time and money for gas/car etc to take to the post office to give your eggs the best opportunity to be off the rough country roads near us. Even as carefully as we ship, we cannot guarantee that there will be no breakage in transit We do not guarantee the percentage of your hatch as the incubators temperature and humidity are very variable. We will provide assistance to you during the hatch and help in every way possible to have the best hatch possible.
