Yesterday I heard the strangest sound while I was working outside, and wondered which of my neighbors had a young rooster. After listening a bit more, I realized it was coming from my baby coop. I was able to see which chick was doing the warbling, and its not even the one who looks like a baby roo already.

These little guys are still peeping! The crow is really funny, and luckily the color/comb are what I want for my Oliver breeding program.

Anyone else have such an early bird? Mine usually start no sooner than 3 months.

Yep. Sometimes those little guys just can't wait to start screeching!
I had one that sounded like rubbing two pieces of tin foil together.
I had no idea where the sound was coming from at first till I saw him try to puff up his little chest to belt out his little screech.
He was an itty, bitty Serama and just too cute!

My Japanese Bantam started at 6 weeks old. It was so funny and so cute. The other 2 followed behind him a few weeks later. I have a 7 1/2 week old Marans roo Im hoping he doesnt start for a while. 4 roos might get noisey
