So here is my EE at 6 weeks. Single comb, still a pale peach color., no wattles. Small tail feathers at this point. It is a little difficult to judge the actual shape of the feathers because of the coloring, and I have never had a chicken with this type of coloring before so I am stumped.

Where did you get him/her? EEs usually have pea combs, beards/muffs and green legs. I'm not seeing any of those traits in yours, though I can't really see the leg color well.

The legs are a greenish color, and I agree, the comb doesn't look like an EE comb. We got him/her from a feed store in the area that specializes in chickens. The chick was in a bin of sexed BSL's, though obviously not a BSL. As the store was only selling sexed chicks and not straight-run, they 99% guarantee that the chicks are sexed correctly. However, this chick is a mystery as I really don't know what it is in breed or gender. He/she is smaller than my BSL of the same age. Honestly I'm at a loss!

Looks like *maybe* a bantam. Although he/she doesnt look much like mine, is is possible that he's a Golden Campine? My Campine has green legs :)

What did your Campine look like as a baby before feathering out? This one was completely brown all over - no markings.

He is so handsome!! Hmm, puzzled about mine - he/she didn't have those chipmunk stripes.
