My EE's are a couple days shy of being 6 weeks old. Can you tell if this one particular one is a pullet or a rooster? I ask because it's comb has started to look a but "chunky". The last picture shows what I'm talking about....

I'm going to say roo, though the EE's can be undecided on gender for a long time! Good luck and pretty bird!

It's hard to say for sure at this age, but she looks like a pullet to me because of her coloring. I have 3 EE pullets and one of them (the first and only one to lay so far) has a wide comb like yours does (it was wider and pinker than my other two EEs at 7 weeks).

Two of mine were real easy to sex, but I didn't know for sure that 3rd one was a pullet till she was about 4 months old.

Do you have a photo of it side by side with other same age birds?

Wow, at six weeks they look like a real chicken....lol.....I didn't realize how fast that happens. I'm picking up chicks Friday and they will be four weeks old by then.[IMG]

After reading all the posts, I'd say it is definately a pullet or a roo! [IMG]
