Hi All,

My first post on here but I have been an active reader since hatching out my 4 ducks & 2 goslings at the end of April. You guys have helped me out of a few sticky situations!
I have two 6 week old goslings, male and female AKA Greg & Peg 😂. I’ve noticed to today Greg who is the oldest, his wing is pushing out of the side much more than Peg who’s are flat against her body. The parent goose has angel wing so I’m just wondering if he might have it too? I’ll attach some photos, if so is it too late to do anything about it?
Does angel wings affect their health in anyway?
Thank you!!

Greg is a handsome fellow. 🙂 Given his age and the fast development at this stage, it looks like possible angel wing to me. Wrapping it now can help it grow into a more optimal position. I prefer Vetrap for the task.

Angel wing is typically considered a primarily cosmetic condition, but it may also affect his ability to fly. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for your response!
He's a beautiful boy, the first goose to come from our two 10 year old geese on the farm so a real miracle.
He's now wrapped up in some mefix medical tape, I have some vetwrap coming today but mefix seems to have done a good job so far. I wrapped him up at about 8pm last night, do I need to unwrap him every so often so he can stretch? How long would you recommend keeping him wrapped? He didn't seem to mind at all being wrapped, he's had it on all night and I can already see his wing is looking higher up.
