6 week old hen or roo?

Lav Orp 6 to 6.5 weeks.
Not liking the tail feathers I am seeing. This one has a taller comb in than the other

we got same age. Slighly more pink showing but it's not as pink as the photos depict.

Looks like a pullet to me. I had one I swore was a rooster at that age and she's obviously not now.

I agree! This bird is a bit tricky but looks about on-par with my Orp pullets at this age

Orps are "slow" maturing breed but beautiful personalities
At 6 - 6.5 wks, guessing pullet but at 8wks would be an easier "know" guess. Remember sometimes you can't go by the size of their combs/wattels. I've questioned sex due to the size at times, learning size is not a real deciding factor. Watch the feathering, although male feathering don't really start until 12wks.

Thanks for the early weigh in. My daughters first chick she named Lavie we are hoping for pullet!
