6 week old Jersey Giant, roo or no roo?

    Take a look at my 6 week old Black Jersey Giant and tell me what you think. He/She rules the flock so I'm guessing roo.

    I'm guessing roo, but only becasue the comb seems to be enlarged. Remember, its not a sure thing until he crows.

    deff a roo, my 12 week old JG pullet's comb isn't anywhere close to that red

    wow so the pullet basically has no comb at all?

    exactly...it is VERY small, yellowish with black hints, no wattles. I believe she was about 11 or 12 weeks in that photo.

    Yes, pullet combs stay compact and lack color. A young roo has got to start advertising early......
