I just got two six week old silkies today and i was wondering if they would still need a heat lamp or not

Unless you live in a cold climate they should be fine. Make sure they are out of the wind/rain and have some cozy place to huddle. They probably will sleep on the floor.

Six-week old chickens do not need a heat lamp unless temperatures get below 45-50 degrees. Just make sure that there aren't any drafts on them, and that they can't get wet from any rain, and they will be fine with no supplemental heat.
