I have four darling little polish chicks, about 6 weeks old. Two have hair that hasn’t really done much in the center of their head but the rest is longer and two their hair is looking more full. I’m thinking I may have two hens and two Roos but curious what others think.... the two I think are girls are together in the photo and the one I’m thinking roo is the second photo. I didn’t get one of the other chick yet but hair looks very similar.

Polish are tricky to sex, and generally take longer than other breeds, besides Silkies. I think 2 or 3 more weeks are needed for these.

On the non-bearded ones, watch the wattle development. Big, red wattles in the next few weeks will mean you have a cockerel.
