All girls. I would say barred rock, sapphire gem, lavender Orpington, and some mixes maybe?

She has a Cuckoo Maran, EE, and some brown egg layers. I hate differentiating between blue or lavender birds, but they are likely both brown egg layers.

For future reference, a BR would have yellow shanks and skin. Also, the barring is slightly different.

I have a hen that my mom thinks is a cuckoo marans, and has pink shanks, but she lays barred rock colored eggs. Do all marans lay copper eggs?

No, they don't.

Hatchery Marans are notorious for not laying really dark eggs and the Cuckoos are said to lay lighter eggs than the Black Coppers.

I figured I got really lucky that I'm getting medium-dark from my FCM pullets.
