6yr old girl needs to know if she can keep her chicken

Hello everyone I have a 6 year old girl that totally loves her chicken but I need to know if her chicken is turning into a rooster. We bought the chickens from a local Ace Hardware and much to our surprise one of them is starting to get a comb it seems any help would be appreciated thank you. Also I think the chicken is a Isa Brown?

How old are they? The other one is an Easter Egger with a pea comb, so it might not be a fair comparison.

I think it's a Rainbow and probably a pullet. It's a little soon to be sure.

I can't see your latest pictures but it's never a bad idea to prepare children well in advance of possibilities.
