I would guess they are almost two years old? Just a guess...

They look really pretty and look almost just like a green. I love how shady your pens are!

emeralds are spaldings. The term Emeralds is not used much anymore....any spalding 3/4 green were call emeralds.. A 7/8 spalding is worth more than a 3/4 spalding. Reason the term was drop was alot of people ,started to use it to get more money for spaldings.
High % spalding are worth more. a 31/32 spalding is worth alot more than a 3/4 spalding, but yet both would be emeralds under the old term.

Steve , nice looking birds..........so statement they are 7/8 mean more than emeralds.
