I have 4 Ayam Cemani hybrids for sale. They are 10 days old and are 7/8 Cemani and 1/8 Black Australourpe. Chicks are not solid black like pure Cemanis but my birds from previous hatches usually have black tongues and meat. Ayam Cemani's are a game fowl and are great meat birds and the eggs and meat have been said to have higher protein and vitamin levels than domestic laying hens. Being a hybrid improves their laying both in quantity and size of eggs. As a meat bird they have a slightly gamey taste like a duck or goose. I've also noticed that they are extremely quiet birds. The chicks rarely make a noise. These would be great as breeding stock for someone who wants to add fresh genes to the Cemani or to breed for eggs and meat.
