Yahoo, 1st day all 7 of my ponedoras each produced an egg. It took the better part of the morning for all the girls to get down to business but it was a banner day. The ladies are sure doing their job of tilling the soil around all of the bushes. It keeps us busy scattering more soil and wood shavings around the bushes but the eggs from these gals are sure awesome, the bugs and worms they scratch out make a huge difference. My large eggs don't run all over the skillet. Our new rescued cat, Charlie, sure likes them. But on a sad side the little lady that came with Charlie passed, Puss'n was 16 years old, perhaps she just couldn't handle the change . She did have a good long life.
