    Just some pictures from around the yard today. This is our pullet that went broody on us, and the 7 chicks we tricked her with. She is SO sweet with them!

    From left to right...Cordelia, Pansy (the evil one!), and Daisy. There was nothing in the planter, they are just weird!

    Ooooh! All the photos are wonderful, but I especially love the one of Frickle and Frackle looking at "probably nothing." Such a good lookin' pair!

The first day she had them outside, a few of the older ones came over to look, but momma puffed up and screeched a lot, and chased the others off. Now no one seems to care. I've even caught the two roosters doing their treat cluck at the chicks. I never want to have chicks in a brooder again, this has been SOOOOO much better!
