Neither have crowed or laid an egg yet, so am wondering if anyone can help out. Here are some photos of the two of them that I took today in no particular order:

I agree!!! Don't worry our silkies started laying at 8 and 9 months.......Enjoy those babies!!! We love ours!

You have a pair. The one with the wide comb from side to side is a rooster. The other has a thin comb that is long from front to back; she is the pullet.

I agree also

Thank you for the replies, that is what I was starting to think, but like I said, I haven't even heard one of the silkies crowing. We've also got some Barred Rocks, two of which are cockerels, and 16 are pullets. They are all still seeming to get along fine, but I think I might separate the silkies relatively soon to prevent the rock cockerels going after the silkie.

Hate to be the lone dissenting voice, but the alleged pullet seems to have a few streamers starting, and type just looks a bit more masculine to me. I think you have a pair of cockerels.
