7 Reasons to raise chickens

I'm new here and thought it would be fun to post at least seven reasons to have chickens.

Here's my 7.
1- health fresh gmo free organic eggs
2- pest control. they eat ticks and other insects
3- They make great pets. some are so lovable and become attached to you.
4- great for kids for so many reasons
5- eating and selling local foods
6 they are great for compost consuming 7 pounds of waste a year for each chicken. Keeping landfills cleaner or emptier.
7- they can provide a small income

1 I love watching them free range. so calming.
2 they are so beautiful
3 eggs for my family
4 eggs for my pig. save so much money.
5 great conversation to bore my husband lol
6 I love feeding them
7 they are like friends to me. they even talk their chicken gossip to me lol
