I have a Silver Grey Dorking flock for sale. This is your chance to add new blood to your existing flock, or start your very own breeding flock!

1 Rooster
3 Adult Hens
1 Pullet 4-5 months
2 Pullets 3-4 months

The hens in the picture are the adult hens, the rooster for sale is the son of the one pictured. I will add pictures of the rooster included in the sale, and the pullets tomorrow.

I regularly sell eggs from the breeding adults for $30 a dozen, including shipping. I also had a waiting list for eggs. These are not culled birds, these are my main breeding birds! If you do not want the 2 youngest pullets, the quad is $75 and I'll sell the 3 pullets for $10 each. Buy all 7 for a deal and sell which ones you don't want.

This is a wonderful breed. They are a wonderful dual purpose, one of the oldest breeds in existance. We regularly eat the culled dorkings and have excellent fryers. They lay eggs in cool weather when other breeds aren't laying. Then in the summer, when given a full nest of eggs, they'll go broody. Truly, an excellent homesteading bird.

I purchased a 4 month old pullet (red dorking) from Kim, the seller. And can tell you her birds are very healthy. BTW Kim my pullet is doing fine just trying to get used to my adult birds! She is flighty as you said but she will tone down. Beautiful birds! Thank you again! Sam

Sorry. It will be easier for me to sell them as a flock. I didn't answer right away because I was considering the offer.

I only wished I lived near Fayetteville - I'd love to buy your Dorking flock. I've done a search and found that Sandhill sells the chicks but only in a 25 min order - which is too many for me. Can you give me any suggestions of other hatcheries or breeders that would ship? Many thanks for any help you can offer.
