Yep you have a pullet. It is not a hen until it is a year old. Same goes for rooster. A cockerel is not a rooster until it is one year old.

First this one was sold to me as a plymouth rock hen. She's not so now I'm hoping she's a least a hen and not a roo. She's so much smaller than her brooder mates all the same age and barely has tail feathers. She's really flighty and any rooster we've ended up with was flighty just like her.

Yeah a Plymouth rock looks like this:

It is a pullet bc the tail feathers are straight. If a roo then it would be curved

Silver laced Wyandotte pullet , pretty breed but you won’t get all the eggs of a BR.
