7 week old chicks

Three mixed chicks. Dad is a red sex-link mix and their mothers are probably my two black sex-link hens. Boys or girls or too soon to know?

I’m going to try to do this from my phone in an organized way. Okay...I don’t think this is working, so the first 4 pics are Chick #1.

The middle 4 pics are Chick#2

The last 4 pics are Chick #3.

Also, I just noticed the white stuff on one of their faces. Is that some type of lice?!

Anyone know if sex-link offspring are good layers like actual sex-link hens? If these three little ladies are as good egg producers as their mothers...well, that would be wonderful.
