7 wk Sussex getting suspicious.

Update on the Sussex. Ten weeks on Monday. The comb and wattles haven’t grown much. What do y’all think now.

I'm guessing pullet at 10 weeks. The comb/wattles should be larger for a cockeral. I've had pullets get pink combs a little early, but they stayed smaller than the cockerals.

Well I bad mouthed Meyer in this thread and it looks like 3 weeks later they might have been 100 percent correct
Lol. It happens. My first batch of day olds were all sexed pullets. We spent 12 weeks questioning several of them because of slight differences in color, size, attitude. They were all pullets. Once we started hatching our own, and had males and females growing up together, we realized the differences were much more pronounced than we thought.
Now comes the long wait for eggs.
