7week old Cornish chicks w/ lump in neck just above the breast bone. Not walking around at all. The floor of the pen is wet and when bedding is changed, it will wet up again quickly.
These chicks belong to a friend of mine, I have not seen them myself. Any Ideas???

Cornish like as in purebred Cornish, or as in (much much commoner) Cornish X meat birds? If the latter, is your friend *positive* that the lump isn't just a full crop, and the lack of walking and large amount of wet poo isn't just normal meat bird behavior?

If they're actual Cornish breed, then just ignore me and someone else will come along with a suggestion [IMG]

    GOod luck to your friend,

    Pat
