I am new to raising chicks. When we bought them from the feed store, they told us they were Ameraucanas. Either way, we are happy with them. They are pretty!

    Thank you!

That happens a lot. ..EE are generally better layers and come in a wider variety of colors/ patterns...both pluses in my book!

I am 100% new to backyard chickens and to having chickens myself. I bought four chickens from my friend who had too many and she thought they were all hens.? There are two Easter Eggars, One Polish, and one silky. They are all approximately nine weeks old. None of them are crowing but I am concerned that three of the four of them are roosters. I have looked online and found significant conflicting information. I believe the tan Easter Egger is a hen and the silky. Because of the bright red markings on the other two I'm concerned that they are roosters. Can someone help me please :)
