The comb on #1 is really light. the comb on the second one is very dark. I was thinking the first one was a pullet & the second a roo? This is part of the fun of being new to raising chickens!!!!

Quote:In that case.... I am not sure [IMG] . are the legs really thick???

Quote:Erm.... not sure about that. I am a new chicken owner too, but i really want all pullets. though I am almost 100% sure i have a PR cockerel.

i might have to fight to keep him. But if my favorite is also a roo..... Awwww.... It makes me so sad thinking about their futures... [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Yes, they are both the same age. Ihave two that look like # 1 [IMG][IMG][IMG] That is really a bummer, because I'm pretty sure that at least 1 of my buff orpingtons is a roo also.
