8 week old RIR

    Here is a photo of one of my 8 week old RIRs. It looks almost exactly like the other 2 RIR chicks from the same hatch. I think I have 3 roos. Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

    [​IMG] With a comb like that at 8 weeks old I would guess roo. [​IMG]

    My 19 week old australorps don't have combs like that yet.

    Here is a photo of the flock that this chick came from. I think this chick has an excuse for the huge comb [​IMG]

    I don't see any point hackles or saddle feathers in yet... I don't know when they come in on RIRs

    The one in the pic is most definately a roo and if the others have as large of comb as he does, they are too, Sorry.
