    I realize its a little early, but I'd like some feedback about my silkie GIRLS.

    I'm choosing to think positive about these two because I so badly want to keep them. I'm feeling a little nervous though, because of how wide thier combs seem to be.

    Ignore the dirty faces. The sillies have been eating tomato!

    Edited cuz I 'posted' instead of 'previewed' -- I'm having such a difficult time resizing these pics!

    I think silkies are the cutest, softest little things on the planet. Who would not love a bird that looks like that!!! I want some!

    Wow, Teresaann, ours look like quadruplets, don't they? We'll minus the tomato face. [IMG]

    Debiraymond, you are right. And they ARE the softest thing on the planet. Well... aside from bunnies. But they are aspiring to BE bunnies. I just love when they're pecking at the ground and that foofy little bunny tail is straight up in the air.

    I was afraid you silkie experts were going to tell me at least one is a roo. Journey acts more roo-ish. Also, one thing I read is that often roos head feathers grow up and back instead of forward. Just like Journeys...

    <sigh>

    I'm keeing them till they crow!

    Any more opinions?

    Chamelle, I hate to say it, but I think you have two males. Teresa, I think you may have a pair.
