he tries to crow lol, lets see i got them on july 7. he has the long feathers on his back and shows every sign of being a roo, exept the last pic.another worry of mine is when i tried to pic him up last time he squatted like a hen?

the other roo got a hold of him so some of his feathers on his head are missing.

Wow...I'm no expert and definately not even a novice when it comes to Polish. Hopefully someone with Polish expertise can give you a more definitive answer.

The squatting thing makes me really wonder though - that sounds awfully hen-nish to me...

Looks like a rooster to me. I have a polish roo and his feathers look just like that.

It ia roo. They will squat if you surprise them. I have one that does that and he also will run and hide his head in the rocks if he sees me coming to get him.

My barred rock laid 3 eggs in 3 hours, sort of. She laid 2 that were stuck together in the middle but had no shell, then a little later a regular egg. Huh.

That's a roo. He could be squatting for you because you're the head roo! Looks like he's just chillin' with the ladies while they take care of business... something a good roo does! [IMG]
