She has always been the biggest of my 4 chicks. I posted on here before at like 6 weeks & everyone but 1 person told me she was a roo. So I am posting again now that she is older. Is she a Bella or a Bruno? Please help me. If it is indeed a roo when do they start crowing usually??

Thanks so much!

Didn't answer right. Black Australorp. And crowing starts sometimes at 3:30AM to Whenever he wants to. Naw, I've had some start as early as 6to7 weeks old not really agiven for this.

I agree the feet look a little large but I still vote hen. I've never had a BA roo but have raised 2 hens. Both had so much red in combs and wattles at such an early age that they were almost ready to lay before I could really believe they were hens.

Looks like a girl to me. Are you sure she's a black australorp? She looks more Jersey Giant to me. Check the bottom of her feet and see if they're yellow. I think I see yellow hints between her toes.

What does it mean if her feet are yellow on the bottom??
Here is a pic? Is that yellow?
I don't know if it is a Jersey giant. It was a replacement chick from My Pet chicken......they told me I was getting a BA.
