9-week old Easter Egger? - M/F?

    I believe this young bird is an Easter Egger of some type. It was included as a bonus rare - exotic from McMurray. Hoping someone might be able to confirm this is an EE and sort out if this looks like a male or a female and what to look for in a breed like the EEs where combs are pretty short.

    I think it's a rooster but you should keep him for breeding.

    Thanks for the reply and suggestion! Yep, I should add that I'd likely keep or try to re-home either way. If it is a roo, will have to consider some flock dynamics. Already have a beautiful but early riser, somewhat anti social barred rock rooster. The BR might be looking for a new home.

    Yes I would replace the BR for that Easter egger he really is a pretty bird.

    That's a cockerel, if you decide to keep one of the roosters I would pick the friendliest one.
