9 week old EE chicken -- Hen or Roo?

This is our girl(?) Falcon. We raised her since she was a chick and we really hope that she's a hen.. She is an Easter Egger, 9 weeks. Could there possibly be saddle feathers growing? She has not crowed at all, but occasionally makes a kind of trilling noise.

Looks like a cockerel, with that well developed comb and that red leakage across the shoulders. My EE cockerel didn’t start crowing til closer to 12-13 weeks, and got his saddle feathers around that same time.

Cockerel. To early for saddle feathers but red wing bars are a male specific trait.

Sorry but I agree, Falcon is very likely a cockerel.

This is my EE Cockerel, Roadrunner. He has the same red on his wing shoulder area and the comb is pretty similar to yours. Which is a male trait so I’d say Falcon is a male. My pullet EE, Raptor, has a smaller comb and is way more pink than his bright red one also her tail feathers stand straight at the end where my cockerels dip down. Hope this helps! My EEs are the same age at about 5 months old!
