My 9 week olds are shedding feathers like crazy! Is this normal? They are also not eating as much. They are not ill. Is this normal? They are laying in the more sheltered part of the coop on the top story now. You know the drill by now. Is this normal? Please at least answer the feather question. Thanks.

Yes, they go through mini molts when young. Probably the molt is bothering them, thus eating less. At least that's what mine went through.
