911-Raccoon Attacked Last Night

So a raccoon reached up under my duck/goose house and has broken the leg of one of my geese. I looks pretty bad, but she seems to be doing well. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with home amputations, because it looks like her leg needs to come off. Any advice?

very sorry to hear of your raccoon attack. I don't have any experience with home amputations and imagine I would be rather poor at it. I would have to find a vet. However, your goose needs to be on some broad spectrum antibiotic ASAP, perhaps Baytril?
