Every Tuesday I volunteer from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at a thrift store. Every time my mom picks me up and I ask whats for dinner she says "YOU COULD MAKE so on and so forth"!! And shes dead serious! So...I have chickens, my laundry, I (i guess you could say) tutor my little sister, school, thrift store, dishes......Someone shoot me now!

Quote:Then she definitely shouldn't be having you cook dinner, JMO.

I could understand if she worked full time, but since she doesn't.. [IMG]

If there are 8 to 10 people being cooked for? Why not have a cooking roster or something so that everyone (who is able to cook safely in a kitchen) can cook.

I'd suggest a family potluck. Everyone makes one dish. If all ideas are shot down...time to 'make' bread and butter. Every night.

What are your mother's given reasons for not making dinner? What are your father's/other adults' in the house? Do your siblings help out?
