My new show doe, named Dian Fossey. My other doe is Annie Jump Cannon...trying out a science, math, and engineering naming theme for a bit.

She's 12 weeks old and has her first show on Sunday up at the Cow Palace.

Yep, these guys run up and down the table.

Fossey was the best of her three littermates, but couldn't compete with the two slightly older Jr. does in the class, so she placed 3rd out of 5 in both shows. My brother's rabbit Uhura was best of breed in show A, and my older girl Cannon took BOB in show B.

Cannon's retired now, planning on breeding her tomorrow.

Are you gonna sell any of her offspring ? i'm in south Alabama ...... where are you ?

Tan is a fairly old breed http://www.atrsc.org/abouttans.htm . Some of the colors are pretty new but the original color that started the breed is over 100 years old.
