    i am in love with this less heard breed of chickens with astonishing Crelle Cuckoo feathering..you are welcOme to shOw sOme Breeding parents pictures if any one got, also the info abOut this v rare breed ie egg laying, body weight, different colors and standards..hope you like the thread and will respond generously :)

    Nice looking bird. I tried to get my mom to sneak me some cool eggs, when she goes to Germany in April, but she won't. I would love to get some of those eggs.

    Bielefelders are basically Welsumers with sexlinked barring. Are they in the US?

    As I understand, just large brown eggs... Won't know until I manage to get some... $1000/pair from GFF, so it could be a WHILE yet ;) Hopefully ElitePoultry will keep us updated.

    I've been stalking the New Arrivals page with the Bielefelders for quite a while now.

    Congrats on getting the first Bielefelders released in the US, Elite! I wasn't going to outbid you on RBA :)

    So are they basically the same as Wellbars? Wouldn't they be pretty easy to produce from scratch?
