It's his story about his dog Trixie that passed away. Anyone read it? I bought it today. Almost afraid to read it and start
don't mean to hijack your post..but give me a sec on this...dean koontz...did he ever write a book about a guy who owned a farm that had anchent tunnels undernieth his farm where it drove his daughters horse crazzy?....i remeber reading that book in high school but can't remember the name of it...sorry for the hijack
Quote:No, two different authors, but they both write horror fiction. Stephen King wrote also as Richard Bachman
Usually, I love Dean Koontz. My favorites were Watchers and Midnight. I re-read those from time to time.
Stephen King wrote also as Richard Bachman Not to be confused with Richard Bach... "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly." I'm looking forward to reading A Little Big Life. Lisa edit: A Big Little Life
I love Dean Koontz, but I don't consider him a horror writer because there's very little blood and gore in his books. He'll scare you to death...over nothing. Not to give the book away, but he dedicated the book to his wife and what he said really touched me (having just lost a dog of my own): "To Gerda, who shared the wonder and the loss, who knows that the pain was so great because the joy before it was even greater, and who had the courage to do it all again. Bliss to you." Kinda like what we went through with losing Charlie Girl and getting the new puppy, ya know?
