So I have an egg that looks as if it has a blood ring... but it doesn't connect I am one day 7/8 of incubating under my broody. It has normal development (or so I think) and it looks as if there is an embryo within a c. Should I leave it under her, take it out? Is it going to survive? The first 3 photos are half buff silkie half sizzle. The second two photos are half buff silkie half black silkie. It seems to have a net of veins but also a blood ring. It has developed a lot since yesterday so...

Can you see any veins besides the blood ring? I don't see any, but if you want to make sure it's not developing you could leave it for a few more days as long as there's no smell!

By 7 days you should see veins quite clearly. So I would think the one is no good and the other you could give a few days if you wanna make sure! :)

I don't blame you! I'm in lockdown on my first incubated eggs. I had 2 infertile and 1 blood ring about the same time and I was so nervous to get rid of them. But good luck with the rest!!
