    Hi all! I'm excited to keep my own hens for eggs and composing help. I look forward to building my own coop. I've been stalking this site for all my research and is time to become a member.

    I just found out that because i am zoned residential, i can't pursue this hobby. *tear*

    Is there a breed that would make an indoor pet/egg layer? Or is it called 'backyard' chicken for a reason?
