A comparison photo!

    My chickens just started laying. I was excited to use my own eggs. Decided to make scrambled eggs for the whole family. Using up the very LAST of the store bought eggs! I couldn't believe the difference. I had to take a pic and wanted to share!! Can you find the egg laid by one of my chickens!

    im goona have to say either the bright orange one, or the one at the bottom that apears to be a 1.5 yolker!

    Right. I know its obvious! Even though I have heard everone talk about the dark firm yokes its just a more drastic difference than I visualized!

    6 yrs ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, we went out for breakfast and my poached egg tasted the way an uncleaned coop smells. Since then I just can't stomach them but the rest of my family enjoys them!

  10. Makes one wonder what the commercial people are feeding their hens. If people knew what a difference that eggs can be had they would DEMAND that the commercial industry change their ways.

    It did not use to be this dramatic. Now they are stretching every penny out of the hens.
