A few weird acting chickens......

[Big Red Hen]

A couple of my Leghorns(almost 8 months) & my Dominique hen gets a dazed look sometimes....they'll just stop moving, look staight ahead and it kinda looks like they're gonna let out a big poop, but nothing happens. Then after that, they go on about their business, pecking and scratching, eating and drinking like normal.....

Is something wrong?

Is it just for a few seconds? If they stood like that for an hour, I'd be concerned. Sounds inoculous. If they're laying fine and appear healthy otherwise, don't worry your head.

They are startled by something. Falling leaves froze all mine in time till they figured out it was nothing coming from the sky to eat them.
