A Frizzled Silkie plus a Necked Necked Silkie gets you .......

    Okay....I just wanted to see what I would get when I put this Sizzle hen:


    with this Showgirl roo:


    and this is what I got:


    The grey has no bowtie while the chipmunk does have one. We will have to wait a few weeks to see the feathering. I'm crossing my fingers for a Frizzle gene.

    There so ADORABLE!! I love to cross my silkies with my bantams they are just so cool. Congrats that frazzled hen is GEORGEOUS!!!

    Those chicks skin is so dark! It looks like licorice (spell?) I know, really wierd analogy, but still, my new silkie chicks skin is more grey than black. Gorgeous and handsome chickens. I'm reen with envy!

    Well, I got tired of eatting her eggs...really! And Kirby didn't make it into the White Silkie pen. So, I just gave in and gathered her eggs for a test hatch. I had only found two other people that's doing this on BYC...

    Whether you call them designer chicks.....or mutts, they do grow on you! [​IMG]
