I wanted to share this rather large egg that Gracie laid today. It's the largest of the seven eggs we got. The white eggs are from our leghorns just to give an idea of the size. Could it be a double yolker since it's so much bigger than her previous eggs?

It's second to the right. I put her egg from yesterday next to it for comparison which is the normal size she lays.

She managed to lay the smallest egg we ever got a while ago too!

Every time we've had an unusually large egg, it has been a double yolk egg. So my guess is that, yes, that is a double yolk egg, too.

That'd be pretty cool! She laid her normal size today which is puny compared to yesterday. I compared the eggs our leghorns laid today and Gracie's large egg is still bigger.
