A little help with the breed, please!

    I would appreciate any opinions on what we have here. These young birds, of 13 weeks age, came from McMurray Hatchery, part of one of their "exotic" specials. I'm including a picture of a hen and a rooster, which I believe are the same breed because they looked identical four weeks before these pictures were taken. Note that they have blue legs.     Are they bantams or large fowl? If the former, I would also guess OEGB, but if the latter, I'm thinking more along the lines of a Phoenix pair. [​IMG]

    They're typical of standard size/large fowl Modern Games from McMurray. Supposed to have super long legs but hatchery stock basically breed by numbers not quality which explains they won't look like online pictures which usually are the best of the best.. far more exaggerated than usual.

    I know as I've gotten the breed from the same hatchery before....

    I agree, those freaky long legs look like Modern Games.
