Thats one of the new tricks they have been using the last few years at Erlanger in Chattanooga. Did that to my aunt this year.
I havent heard about it before..
I have heard about drowing folks being brought back after being in freezing water though....
Man... i hope my hospital does this... doubt it though... we live in podunk..
I wonder what she experienced the 15 minutes she was dead.

People don't die in 15 minutes or for 15 minutes - lots of people flatline (I did) and then regain consciousness.
As I said, 'reports of my death are vastly exaggerated'. They worked on me for a long time. When I woke up, someone was yelling at me, lol.
Cold can be very good for heart attacks. Slows down the damaging processes and prevents more heart injury.
The marvels of modern medicine, I hope they soon all don't end up by the wayside.
