A pullet of ducks?

I was wondering if you can get only girl ducks because our poor little girl lost her friends (damn racoons) and we can't risk getting too many drakes because we roosters and they will fight and that's just not good and can a broody hen adopt ducklings? I don't think this is the right thread but I'm just asking
Tl Dr can you buy only female duck and will a broody chiken adopt them

You can buy just females. They’re fine without a drake if that’s what you’re wondering

Some hatcheries sell sexed ducklings, and SOMETIMES they can be fostered to a broody hen. Hens that have previously raised chicks are less likely to accept ducklings.

Well that's good because our little irl has gotten really sad and it sucks seeing her like this but thank you for the info!

If your duck is older, look locally I've found duck hens in my area. A lot of times there are more drakes available though.
