    [IMG] Hi,
My daughter and I have started our little chicken experience with 6 chickens. She is 9 and is loving taking care of her pet chickens. She would like to know how long it takes for a chicken to make an egg in its body. We just found our first two eggs yesterday:) Thanks for any help...

I have read several places chickens can produce an egg every 23-25 hours.

[IMG] You've already received your answer. Compliment your daughter on a question more sensible than many adults ask. [IMG]
